Obituary of Dorothy Rosella Weaver Ashley

Dorothy Weaver Ashley, 90, widow of Rev. Thomas H. Ashley, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 19, 2018.

Mrs. Ashley was born in Rock Hill to the late William Harrison Weaver and Janie Mishow Weaver.  Being a pastor’s wife, she was very active in each of the local churches during her husband’s ministry leading the ladies ministries.

Surviving are two sons and their wives, Tom and Loren Ashley, and Gene and Bonnie Ashley; a daughter and her husband, Becky and Richard Bazzle; a great nephew, Jeremy Weaver; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Bill Weaver and Jim Weaver.

Funeral Services will be 3pm Sunday at Tremont Church of God.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be 11am Monday at Beaufort VA National Cemetery.
