Please share a memory of Calvin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Calvin Rudolph Jones, 91, of Fountain Inn, entered into the presence of the Lord on November 27, 2018. Born in Easley on April 21, 1927, he was the son of the late Calvin Bennett Jones and Eva Revis Jones and the husband of Pauline Gibson Jones. Rudy was a talented athlete from his school years. He was drafted by the Atlanta Crackers when he was 18 years old. It was the semi-pro ball club now known as the Atlanta Braves. His career as a professional baseball player was cut short by the draft during WWll. Rudy served in the Merchant Marines. He and Polly were married in 1946. They moved to Fountain Inn in 1950 where he began his career at Home Comforts Mutual Home Furniture Store manager. He was very successful in many areas; in business, president of the Chamber of Commerce, well known lay preacher in the Methodist Church, entrepreneur, and gifted Bible teacher who touched many lives. He taught in over 400 different denominational churches. He was a fluent writer. His website WeQuanta and his newsletters have reached many people around the world. Rudy developed a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and Father God. His desire was to impart truth that would change lives by the power of God's Word. He was very generous to many and cared unselfishly for his wife Polly for several years. In addition to his wife Polly, Rudy is survived by sisters Shirley Owen and Dot Reese; brother Randall; his daughters, Wanda Fowler of Leesville and Pamela Sanders (Perry) of Seneca, SC; grandchildren Matt Sanders (April) of Belton, Missouri; Abram (Lauren) of Taylors, SC; Josh (Megan) of Seneca, SC; Rachaelle (Dave) of Anderson, SC; Wendy (Mike) of Foxboro, Massachusetts; Kevin (Heather) of Kaneohe, Hawaii; Missy (Wade) of Murrells Inlet, SC; and 16 great grandchildren.
