Obituary of Timothy Allen Shelton

Tim “Bop” Shelton, 61, husband of Teresa Shelton, died Monday, January 28, 2019.
Mr. Shelton was born in Greenville to the late Marshall Cain Shelton and Ruby Lee King Shelton. He enjoyed fishing, music, teaching, and mentoring. Tim was a master craftsman who loved carpentry. He was a great family man and coached basketball for many years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a brother, Michael Shelton and wife Marian; a sister, Tina Shelton-Cato; a grandson, Josiah Reames; a niece, Margaret Shelton; and a nephew, Josh Cato and wife Carly. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Richard Cato.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
