Obituary of Luis "Lucho" Cuartas

Luis Fernando “Lucho” Cuartas, 55, husband of Ana Milena Cardona Acosta, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2019.

Mr. Cuartas was born in Buenaventura Valle Del Cauca, Colombia to the late Luis Fernando Cuartas Sr. and Aleida Diosa.  He worked at Metromont Corporation and was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.  Lucho was an avid fan of soccer and also enjoyed Salsa dancing.

 

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Luis Cuartas; three daughters, Claudia Caballero and husband Manuel, Jessica Tuttle and husband Peyden, and Fernanda Cuartas; a brother, Carlos Cuartas and wife Claudia; two sisters, Luz Marina Cuartas and husband Jair, and Janet Cuartas and husband Danilo; and two granddaughters, Alexa Caballero and Isabelle Tuttle.  He was predeceased by a brother, Eduardo Cuartas; and a sister, Luz Mila Cuartas.

 

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service (1218 N. Main Street in Fountain Inn).  Burial will be in Graceland East Cemetery.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

 

Memorials may be made to the Greenville Cancer Society, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.
