Obituary of Bobbie Yawn
Bobbie Trula Clark Yawn, 96, widow of Thomas “Tommy” Yawn, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 24, 2019.
Mrs. Yawn was born June 13, 1923 in Greenville to the late Robert Hughey Clark and Mary Melvine “Polly” Price Clark. She was the last surviving child of the Clark family. She retired from J.P. Stevens. Bobbie enjoyed traveling and was a collector of dolls.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Wanda and Tom Krier, and Patti and Bobby Martin; seven grandchildren, Dale Bentley, Jennifer Pressley, Alicia Littleton, Mark Coleman Jr., Bobby Martin Jr., Leanna McMillan, Rachel Murphy; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Smith; a grandson, Donny; and a great-grandchild, Bellamy.
A Celebration of Bobbie’s Life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 3rd at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be in Graceland West Cemetery at a later date.
