Obituary of Richard Barry Miller

Richard Barry Miller, 75, husband of Mary Hand Miller for 54 years, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 28, 2019.

Mr. Miller was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Gilbert Wesley Miller, Sr. and Dorothy Bowman Miller.  He spent 10 years in the USMC ending as a SSgt and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was retired from Kemet Electronics.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Richard Miller II and wife Kris, Rev. Sean Miller and wife Rev. Maria; a daughter, Suzanne Goins and husband Steve; seven grandchildren, Casey Goins, Joshua Goins, Katie Miller, Michael Miller, Matthew Miller, David Miller and Ethan Miller; two brothers, Gilbert Miller and Donald Miller and wife June and a sister, Kathryn Young.

Memorial Services will be 2pm Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1100 Log Shoals Road, Mauldin, SC  29662, conducted by Rev. Michael Sherman. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given in Richard Miller's name to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
