George Walter Mancuso, 73, husband of Gail Garrett Mancuso, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2016.
Mr. Mancuso was born in Pittsburg and was the son of Ernie and Dorothy Berry Mancuso. He retired from Mitsubishi Polyester Film and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of Mauldin First Baptist Church and the Submarine Club.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Sandy Sorrow and husband Chuck; two sons, David Waldrep and wife Donna, and Martin Waldrep; a brother, E.J. Mancuso and wife Debbie; two sisters, Marilyn Mancuso and Pam Dugan and husband Denny; and three grandchildren, Austin Waldrep, Lauren Sorrow and Christopher Sorrow. He was predeceased by his first wife, Pat Zeigler Mancuso; and a brother, Johnny Mancuso.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Funeral services, with Military Honors, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Mauldin First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Wade Leonard. Burial will be private.
