Obituary of Wanda Elmore

Wanda Lynn Chesney Elmore, 58, wife of Billy Joe Elmore for 40 years, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

Mrs. Elmore was born in Fountain Inn to Billy Andrew Chesney and the late Geneva Earline Gossett Chesney.  She worked at Inman Mills for the last 35 years.  Wanda was a huge Carolina Panthers fan and loved her sons and grandchildren unconditionally.  She collected key chains and wind chimes.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and father, are three sons, Brad Elmore, Brent Elmore and wife Abbie, and Brandon Elmore and wife Stephanie; two sisters, Kay Arnold and husband Leslie, and Waynetta Hyman; and six grandchildren, Justin Elmore, Chandler Elmore, Logan Elmore, Aiden Elmore, Raelynn Elmore, and Ian Elmore.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Wess Jordan.  Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.

The family has asked that you wear your favorite Carolina Panther attire to both the visitation and the funeral services.
