Obituary of Peggy Waller Lasley

Peggy Waller Lasley, 87, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 2, 2020. Ms. Lasley was born in NC to the late Benjamin Dale Waller and Lucille Matthews Waller. She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church and a former member of the La Sertoma Club. She was a graduate of Brevard College where she majored in Classical Piano Music and minored in Art. Peggy enjoyed gardening, cooking, and classical piano music. She was very involved in the Republican Party and other charities and organizations. Surviving, are two sons, Michael Lasley (Sandy) and Gregory Lasley (Nicole); a daughter, Linda May; seven grandchildren, Brian Lasley, Rebecca Lasley, Caroline Lasley, William Lasley, Dylan Lasley, Matthew Garrett and Amber Garrett and two great-grandchildren, Addie Garrett and Grace Gilliard. She was predeceased by a sister, Jean Waller Clark and a son-in-law, Michael May. The family will receive friends from 4-6pm Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial Services will be private.
