Obituary of Carolyn Faye Lampley

Mrs. Lampley was born in Asheville, NC to Ava Leona Cole Norton and the late Steven Baxter Norton. She enjoyed traveling. Her greatest joy was being “Mamaw” to her grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Henry Lampley Jr. and wife Danielle; two daughters, Melissa Edwards and husband Daniel, and Jessica Lampley and fiancé Matthew McCall; two sisters, Evonne Thomas and husband Jim, and Donna Pennell; and twelve grandchildren, Isaiah Wofford, Matthew Yeni, Greyson Wofford, Aiden Custard, Andrew Simmons, Kaiden Simmons, Madison Lampley, Kimberly Clark, Ezekiel Edwards, Analynn Lampley, Jude Edwards, and Holly McCall.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service. Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at Paint Gap Baptist Church Cemetery (Mars Hill, NC).
The family is receiving friends and family at the home, 23 Liberty Street in Piedmont.
