Obituary of Joseph Carl Kramer

Joseph “Joe” Carl Kramer, 61, husband of Althea Holland from Greenville, SC, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 18, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Kramer was born in Covington, KY to Ann Faust Kramer and the late Robert “Bob” Kramer. He was an alumnus of Ohio University where he earned a Bachelor Degree, majoring in Communications and was a member of the Beta Theta Phi Fraternity. Joe loved playing golf, the beach, sunshine and playing tennis with his dad. He was a former MPI Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), AHMA Certified Hotel Sales Professional (CHSP). He belonged to the following associations: Hotel Industry Professionals Worldwide, Destination Marketing Association International and the Revenue Technology Hotel Professionals Group. He helped form The Ashton Lakes Reserve HOA and loved to mentor in his profession. Prior to his declining health, he was the Director of Sales and Marketing with Gerson Lehrman Group Limited. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother are a sister, Robin Sidhu; a nephew, Sam Sidhu; two nieces, Mira Sidhu and Emma Sidhu and his beloved cats, Jacob and Mercedes.
