Obituary of Frances Jewel Gray Owens

Frances G. Owens, 92, of the Greenpond Community, Gray Court, passed away on Nov. 13, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Frank Gray and Carrie Armstrong Gray. She was retired from the Greenville Water System and was a life-long member of Greenpond United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Marion R. Owens, her son, William J. Craine, Jr., and his wife Patty of Laurens; granddaughters, Kristin Craine and her husband Michael Dutton and Kylie Craine Logan and her husband, Ed Logan; great-grandsons, Paul and Liam Dutton; stepsons Bill Owens and his wife Marion and Larry Owens and his wife Deb, and numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Doris Balcombe. The funeral Service will be held at Greenpond United Methodist Church on Tuesday at 2pm. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Cannon Memorial Park.
