Rudolph Watson, 80, husband of Sandra Watson for 54 years, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.
Mr. Watson was born in Spartanburg to the late Clarence Evans Watson and Naomi Strickland Watson. Rudolph enjoyed refurbishing lawnmowers and watching NASCAR and golf. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son, Allen Watson and wife Shirley; four sisters, Eva Nell Crain, Carrie Coley, Aline Jordan and Hazel Ann; one sister in-law, Patsy Garret; two grandchildren, Christopher Watson and Brett Watson (Nicole); five great-grandchildren, Claire Davis, Ada Lynn Davis, Alyssa Morris, Rebecca Morris and Emma Morris; honorable mention extended, Hailey Smith and Aubrey Smith.
He was predeceased by his father in-law and mother in-law, Roy and Mallie Leopard; one brother, Clarence Watson, Jr.; four sisters, Rosie Mae Cooper, Mary Culbertson, Edna Ward and Paulette Watson; one sister in-law, Joyce Mahaffey.
A Celebration of life will be held 4 p.m. Friday, September 4th in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service.
