Carol Vaughn Bagwell, 77, widow of Belton Lee Bagwell, of Simpsonville, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016. Mrs. Bagwell was born April 25, 1939 in Simpsonville to the late General and Madeline Wood Vaughn. She was a loving mother, grandmother and Grams. Surviving, are three children, Sandra Hatcher (Acey), Sarah Jane Ashmore, and Ricky Bagwell (Vicky); eight grandchildren, April Johnson (Wayne), Allison Whelchel (Joe), Bubba Hatcher (Lynn), Gill Kennedy (Randy), Lee Tolley, Chad Hatcher, Chase Hatcher (Kaylan) and Cristin Fulmer (Drew); fourteen great grandchildren, Austin Hatcher (Anna Willis), Kristin Tillotson, Caleb Hatcher, Carson Hatcher, Eric Reid, Sarah Grace Whelchel, Cassidy Johnson, Nathan Tolley, Gaden Tolley, Carol Ann Kennedy, Madeline Kennedy, Reid Synder, Liam Fulmer and Bobby Kennedy; nieces and nephews, Byran Bagwell (Gale), Sherry Bagwell, Sharon Cox (Jimmy), Patty Dismukes (Brian), Angie Chistain (Joey) and a very special niece, Betty Kennedy (Bobby) and two brothers-in-law, Herb Bagwell (Margie) and J.D. Bagwell (Barbara). In addition to her husband and parent, she was predeceased by a step-father, Wilbur Lewis; a brother, Terry Lyndon Vaughn; two sisters-in-law, Betty Rogers (Harold) and Lottie Yest (Bobby) and a very special friend, Nancy Holley. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be 1pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Entombment will follow at Graceland East Cemetery.
