Obituary of David Bruce Patterson

David Bruce Patterson, 65, husband to Pam Patterson for 36 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 30th, 2020.
Mr. Patterson was born in Greenville to Jerry Bruce Patterson and the late Carol Ina Hale Patterson. He worked 44 years at Southern Painting and Maintenance in Greenville, S.C. where he was currently the foreman over the sand blast yard. David loved fishing, hunting, wood working, and gardening. He was a very giving man and never met a stranger. He loved his family dearly and had a heart of gold.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Keith Patterson with wife Amy; one step-son, Zach Russell and wife Sam; one brother, Dr. Daniel Patterson with wife Alison; two grandchildren, Andrew Patterson, and Tyler Patterson.
A Celebration of Life will be 5 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. David Shiflet.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
