Obituary of Heidi Martin Boucher

Heidi Elizabeth Boucher, 58, of Fountain Inn, widow of Steve Boucher, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, November 26, 2016. She was born in North Adams, MA on July 19, 1958 to the late Walter and Tracy (Lee) Martin of Adams, MA.. She graduated from Hoosac Valley High School in 1976 and attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she studied music in hope to one day to be a music teacher. She enjoyed music, television, traveling, gardening, camping, and animals, especially walking her dog, Cricket. She was a spiritual woman and was a dedicated member of the Heritage Bible Church. Her friendliness and kindness to all people, and her devotion and love for animals was a tribute to the beauty of her heart and soul. Her inspiring presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known her. Surviving are a sister, Tammy Samson of Adams, MA, and husband John; a brother-in-law, Mark Boucher of Adams, MA; a nephew, Nathan Samson and niece Kristy Samson of Adams, MA; other nephews and nieces; her best friend, Jeirs Pitts; her cat, Cinder, many caregivers, and church friends. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday at Heritage Bible Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to the Carolina Youth Symphony, PO Box 534, Greenville, SC 29602.
