Obituary of Robert Melvin Ort

Robert Melvin Ort, 72, widower of Margaret Louise Gibney Ort, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 2, 2020.
Mr. Ort was born in Bellefonte, Pa to the late Charles Herman Ort and Mary Ann Cherry Ort.
Robert enjoyed fishing and playing golf and was a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are a son, Benjamin “Ben” Ort; brother, Charles “Buzz” Ort with wife Georgia “Boots”; five grandchildren, Tony Ort, Chandler Ort, Brayden Ort, Ella Cannon and Mya Ballenger. He was predeceased by his daughter, Stephanie Ort; two brothers, Tim Ort and Sam Ort; and a granddaughter, Cierra Ort.
Graveside services will be 3 pm Friday, October 9, 2020 at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
