Rick had come by our house just a couple of months ago so I was shocked to hear of his passing. What a bright light and happy soul. You could not be around Rick and not be smiling! He will be greatly missed but I look forward to seeing him again when we all go home to heaven. I am praying for Vera, Misty, Adam and Logan for peace to be with them knowing he is with his father and his heavenly Father.

My prayers are with you Vera, Misty and all of Ricks family. I have so many good memories of Rick, he was one of the "gooduns" as he used to say. So many fun times at Granny Garrett's, and just a few months ago, he stopped by my house and we talked about the good ole days, God & heaven, and he played me a few songs. One thing Rick never failed to do, was to make me smile and laugh no matter how HIS day was going. He had a good heart and soul and I know that he is NOW with the Angels making them smile, playing in that heavenly choir. I'll miss you Rick and I'll forever be grateful for the songs and very emotional prayer you said at my own daddy's funeral. NOW, you are with all of our loved ones who have gone before us, and we'll all see you again some sweet day. I'll bet the fishing in heaven is AWESOME!
