Elizabeth “Eloise” Mahon DeLoach, 97, widow of Lee E. DeLoach from Hogansville, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2020. Mrs. DeLoach was born in Fountain Inn, S.C. to the late George Washington Mahon and Maggie Traynham Mahon. Eloise graduated from Fountain Inn High school in 1941 and retired from the Department of Defense (Civil Service). She married Lee October 12, 1947. Upon his retiring from the military and civil service, they moved to Macon, Ga where they resided for 47 years. She was a member of Bloomfield United Methodist church for 39 years, serving on the administrative board, Older Adult Coordinator, Board of Trustees and the United Methodist Women. She attended the Golden Rule Sunday school class. Surviving is a son, Brion E. DeLoach and wife Hilda Faye; two grandchildren, Zachary Brion DeLoach and Brooke L. Holt and husband Thomas; three great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Ann Herrera, Caliana Holt, and Caiden Holt; four nieces, Frances McKinney (Joe), Jerry Martin (Warren), Donna Smith and Jean Jackson (Carl); and two nephews, Joey McKinney and Robbie Mahon. She was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Mahon Hipps; a brother, Jack Mahon; and a nephew, Steve Mahon. A family gathering will be private. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Gardens in Macon, Ga.
