Obituary of Jack Mount Evans, Jr.

Jack Mount Evans, Jr., 58, husband of Andrea Lynn James Evans, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. Mr. Evans was born in Pensacola, FL to and Annie J. Evans Funk and the late Jack Mount Evans, Sr. He was raised and last resided in Simpsonville, SC. Jack enjoyed golf, shooting, and boating. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are two sons, Dillon Evans and Alex Hamilton; a daughter, Barbara Hamilton (Russell Cheng); three sisters, Wanda Stamey (David), Patty Snider and Gail Thomas; and three grandchildren, Connor Hamilton, Tyler Cheng and Kyra Cheng. The family will receive friends between 5-7 pm Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at 1 pm Friday at the Fred W. Symmes Chapel at Pretty Place, 100 YMCA Camp Road, Cleveland, SC 29635.
