Obituary of Carol Ann Miller

Carol Ann Miller, age 76, wife of the late Nickolas L. Miller for over 55 years, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 in Simpsonville, SC. Carol was born April 18, 1944 in Bellaire, Ohio, to the late Andrew Spitzl and Ivaleen Lappert Spitzl. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bellaire and an Alumna of West Liberty University and WVU. After graduation, she worked for many years as a medical technologist and laboratory supervisor. Carol enjoyed traveling and spending time on the water, whether she was boating around, skiing, or sitting on a beach. She had a passion for animals and was an avid reader. Spending time with her family was what she loved most. She is survived by a daughter, Lorri Muir, and Lorri’s husband Erik of Simpsonville, SC; her two beloved granddaughters, Kylee Muir, of Mountain View, California, and Kaitlyn Muir, of Simpsonville, SC, and a sister, Sandra Young, of St. Clairsville. She will be deeply missed. The family held a private celebration of Carol’s life on December 15. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter.
