Carl Oliver “Butch” Neely, Jr., 73, husband of Linda Buckner Neely, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
Mr. Neely was born in Spartanburg County to the late Carl Oliver Neely, Sr. and Edna Blanche Carroll Neely. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Butch loved the mountains and traveling with his wife. He was a handyman and enjoyed technology.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Brian Neely; a daughter, Pamela Neves (Dale); two sisters, Jean Solesbee and Nancy Moore (Will); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and thirteen nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2pm Monday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Graceland West Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 1279 S Frontage Rd, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
