Esley Henry “Dusty” Gee Jr., 74, husband of Joan Florence Cannon Gee for 25 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 26, 2020.
Mr. Gee was born in Rutherfordton, NC to the late Esley Henry Gee Sr. and Frances Spakes Gee. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church (Simpsonville) and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from Kemet Electronics. Dusty enjoyed traveling and attending tractor shows. Some of his favorite hang-outs were Egg’s Up and the Spice Diner.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Jeffery Gee, and Jonathan Gee and wife Amy. He was predeceased by two brothers, Dean Gee and Billy Gee; and two sisters, Freda Gee and Julia Hawkins.
A Celebration of Dusty’s Life was held at 12 noon Saturday at Faith Baptist Church in Simpsonville. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
