Obituary of Patricia "Tish" Wham Bedenbaugh

Patricia “Tish” Wham Bedenbaugh, 79, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Ms. Bedenbaugh was born in Gray Court, South Carolina to the late James William Wham and Ludie Mae Mahon. She was a member of Green Pond United Methodist Church where she actively volunteered for the Laurens County Food Ministry. Tish also served on the board at Greenpond Volunteer Fire Department and she was a clerk and poll manager for Laurens County Voter’s Registration and Election Commission at Greenpond. She was known for her passion of helping people and the love of her family. Surviving are two daughters, Carol Ann Honeycutt and Sheila Putnam and husband Barry; a son, Mark Bendenbaugh and wife Lynne; seven grandchildren, Kyle Putnam, Lance Putnam, Sierra Braswell, Blakely Bedenbaugh, Jon Michael Bedenbaugh, Brooke Russ and Brandon Russ; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jo Montjoy. A viewing period will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Green Pond United Methodist Church. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at Beulah Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Sharon Britz.
