Eva “Jane” Alexander, 80, wife of Jimmy Dyer Alexander, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Mrs. Alexander was born in Westminster, SC to the late Ernest Hudson and Carrie Dean Suttles Hudson. She was a member of Mauldin First Baptist Church and retired from Reliance Electric. Jane enjoyed traveling, camping, reading and journaling. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved being with her family, taking care of Jimmy, and talking to her friends. She was a woman of strong faith and true matriarch of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Patricia Pike and husband Wayne and Yvonne Waters and husband Fred; five grandchildren, Will Pike and wife Courtney, Zach Pike and wife Brittany, Byron Waters, Shannon Waters, and Matthew Waters; six great-grandchildren, Emma Pike, Layla Pike, Ella Pike, Landon Waters, Emerson Waters, and Colton Waters. She was predeceased by two brothers, Junior Hudson and George Hudson. Graveside services will be held 1pm Tuesday in the mausoleum chapel at Graceland East Memorial Park.
