Gwendolyn Udine “Ossie” Clark Dilling, 92, widow of William Austin Dilling, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
Mrs. Dilling was born in Gastonia, NC, to the late Claude Heyward Clark and Maxie Ann Johnson Clark. She was a member of Weslyan United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Randy Dilling and wife Wilma; a brother, Pete Clark and wife Dot; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Dilling; four grandchildren, Abbye Dilling, Meredith Nix, Heidi Steakly and Heather Frye; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Bill Dilling; four sisters, Violet Stephens, Joyce Robinson, Evelyn Graham and Daphine Baker; and a brother, Ronald Clark.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
