Florence Revonda Floyd, 82, wife of Raymond Donald “Don” Floyd for 20 years, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Mrs. Floyd was born in Pelzer to the late Frank Chapman and Mary Henry Chapman. She retired from Michelin. She was a member of Christ Redeemer Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was a student of the bible and a disciple of Christ. Revonda enjoyed cooking and traveling – taking 33 cruises with Don over their time together. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a brother, Bill Chapman and wife Doris; three grandchildren, Brittany Turner, Shelley Hudson and husband Ceyth and McKenzie Whiting; a great-grandchild, Aiden McKelvey; and a nephew, Shawn Shelley and wife Melissa and their children Jenna and Mia. She was predeceased by a son, Greg Porter; and a daughter, Sandra Whiting. A Memorial Service will be held 1pm Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
