Obituary of Thomas Paul Walsh

Thomas “Paul” Walsh, 70, husband of 48 years to Susan Caswell Walsh, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2021. Mr. Walsh was born in Kittery, Maine to the late Richard Anthony Walsh and Josephine Laura Gagne Walsh. He was a member of Word of Life Ministries. He obtained his Associate’s degree in Advanced Nursing from NHTI. He served as a Medic in the United States Army. Paul retired from the South Carolina Department of Corrections where he worked as a nurse manager. In his free time, he enjoyed water sports. He was a certified scuba diver and sailboat enthusiast. Paul enjoyed collecting and playing guitars. His greatest hobby was being Papa to his grandchildren. Surviving is his wife, are his two daughters, Karrie Thornhill and Erin Rampey; 3 grandchildren, Will Thornhill, Thomas Walsh and Timmy Rampey; four brothers, Dickie Walsh, Connie Walsh, Pat Walsh (Linda), Johnny Walsh and Bill Walsh; and three sisters, Sheila Fogarty, Peggy Nelson and Rachel Fillon (Scott). He was predeceased by a brother, Joey Walsh. A Memorial Service will be held at a later time. Fletcher Funeral Service
