Obituary of Kevin Dean Sherer

Kevin Dean Sherer, 57, husband of Donna Bolding Sherer, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Mr. Sherer was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to the late Walter Dean Sherer and Jerry Carroll Gilliard. He was a member of Renovation Church where he was a worship leader, bible teacher, men’s ministry teacher as well as music minister. Mr. Sherer worked at Master Brands Cabinets as a field service representative. Kevin was known as “The King” of dad jokes by his children. He was a master of the grill and was an avid Gamecocks fan. He loved his family dearly and adored his wife.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife is his son, Brendan Sherer; two daughters, Libby Zadoorian (Ara) and Rebekah Sherer; brother, Brian Sherer (Julie) and their two children, Jenna Firmstone (Tyler), Jordan (Kaitlin) Sherer and their son, James Dean; stepfather, Darrell Gilliard and stepsister, Cindy Quinn (Steve).
A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at 4 o’clock Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Renovation Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30-4:00 p.m.
