Obituary of Mary Espinoza Lee

Maria “Mary” Elena Espinoza Lee, 78, widow of James “Jim” Lee, Sr., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 21, 2021 in Simpsonville, SC.
Mary Lee was born in San Antonio, TX to the late Julian Espinoza and Candelaria Garnica Espinoza. After a 30+ year career with NEISD Food Service, she retired in 2013 as the Cafeteria Manager at Madison High School. She touched many lives ensuring students were always fed at school. She enjoyed working in the yard, traveling, feeding slot machines and dancing with Jim.
Surviving is a son, James “Jimmy” Lee, Jr. and wife Caroline; one brother, Frank Espinoza; and one sister, Olivia Enrione, various nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in laws. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Espinoza and a sister, Josie Avina.
The family will have a life celebration in San Antonio in late summer/fall 2021. More details to follow based on the pandemic situation. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the care provided by Lutheran Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s name can be made to Lutheran Hospice of South Carolina 429 N Main St, Suite 3 Greenville, SC 29601.
