Ray Biles Obituary

Ray Beauford Biles, 87, husband of Elaine Biles, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 16, 2016. Mr. Biles was born in High Point, NC, to the late Claude Davenport Biles and Lula Hopkins Biles. He retired from the Department of the Air Force, and also retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was a licensed pilot and an avid golfer. Ray was a HEJAZ Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Glenn Biles and wife Donna; a daughter, Carol Ann Biles Hazzard; three brothers, Vernon Biles, Pete Biles, and Bobby Biles and wife Janice; two sisters, Jane Biles and Elaine Payne; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Odis Biles; and four sisters, Odessa Bennett, Aline Hicks, Virginia Davis and Gladys Allred. Funeral services, with military honors, will be 2 pm Friday, December 23rd at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
