Obituary of Connie Elizabeth Smith Pittman

Connie Elizabeth Smith Pittman, 69, wife of the late Thomas Ray “Tommy” Pittman, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Mrs. Pittman was born in Greenville to the late Alvin Parks Smith and Lola Anne Garrett Smith. She was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church and enjoyed arts and crafts, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She collected teapots and ceramic houses and enjoyed vacationing in Tybee Island and trips to The Crab Shack. Connie’s greatest joy was being “Gran” to her grandkids and will forever be missed. Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Hedreen and husband Ryan of Goose Creek, SC; a son, Garrett Pittman and wife Indigo; two brothers, Buster Smith and wife Roseanne and Kip Smith; six grandchildren, Hunter Hedreen, Trent Hedreen, Garrison Pittman, Clara Pittman, Alani Pittman and Leah Pittman; and her beloved dog “Molly.” Pre-deceased is a sister, Jan Rainwater. A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be 11 o’clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Inurnment will be at a later date in Cannon Memorial Park.
