Obituary of Virginia Hendrix McEntyre

Virginia "Ginny" Hendrix McEntyre was finally able to live in her new home in Simpsonville after a hard-fought few months of illness when she was called to Heaven on Saturday May 1, 2021. Ginny was born in Anderson, SC to the late William Loman Hendrix & Ella Mae Welborn Hendrix. Ginny was the owner of GHM Property Management in Anderson. She enjoyed her work as a property manager and into it she poured her heart and soul. She also enjoyed reading, watching Hallmark movies & HGTV, and loved talking on the phone to catch up with family & friends. Surviving is her only daughter, Kathleen Garrison and husband, Steve; two grandsons, her pride & joy, "her boys" who lovingly referred to her as GinGin, Seth Garrison and Sam Garrison. Ginny is also survived by a brother Bill Hendrix and wife Peggy; a brother Robert Hendrix and wife Joan; a sister and many nieces & nephews whom she loved dearly. Ginny loved any and all things related to her grandsons so anyone wishing to honor her memory may make a donation to support the First Presbyterian Academy Track & Field team from where her boys graduated and the oldest now teaches and coaches.
