Ruby Maria Maxine Taylor Kohn, 80 formerly from Van Wert, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Gray Court, SC.
Ruby was born September 11, 1936 in Ohio City, Ohio, to the late Gilbert Taylor and Wave Medaugh Taylor. She retired from GTE in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Life Restoration Center, Greenville, SC.
Surviving daughters are: Connie (Dewey) Fondren, Deb (Randy) Morrison, Kim (Bill) Deaton, and Cindy (Mike) Krugh; two sisters Alta Parton and Jane Krieger; brother Wavel (Sandy) Taylor and an honorary son Dr. Arici Iwerebur; and eight grandchildren, Shane Fondren, Allyson Scarborough, Courtney, Cory, Chase, and Cara Deaton, Stephanie & Nicholas Krugh; and two great grandsons: Luke Fondren & Graham Scarborough. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Larry Don Kohn of 32 years of marriage & four brothers Doyt Taylor, Harlan Taylor, Dale Taylor, and Johnnie Taylor; two sisters Virginia Gamble, and Opal Kohn.
A funeral service is being held in Greenville, SC December 29, with a memorial service December 31, in Van Wert, Ohio with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City, Ohio.
Memorial may be made to the memorial of Ruby Kohn in care of Fletcher Funeral Service, 1218 N. Main Street, SC 29644.
