Obituary of William Hugh Schofield

William “Hugh” Schofield, 74, widower of Virginia “Ginny” Bragg Schofield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Mr. Schofield was born in Gray Court to the late Woodward Louis Schofield and Ethel Edwards Schofield. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Hugh enjoyed fishing and hunting and teaching children how to fish. Surviving are three brothers, Dan Schofield and wife Tina, David Schofield and wife Teresa, and Brian Schofield and wife Terri; and one sister, Nancy Bragg. A Celebration of Life will be 1 o’clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be at Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park.
