Obituary of Janet Garrison

Janet Lynn Mahaffey Garrison (Simmons), 51, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Ms. Garrison was born in Greenville to the late Roger Paul Mahaffey and Patricia Faye Cape Mahaffey. She was a member of Emmanuel Praise & Worship Center in Fountain Inn. Janet enjoyed mud-bogging and fishing. Her favorite holiday was Halloween and she was a fan of Batman. Surviving are three daughters, Kelly Garrison and fiancé Berry Pickens, Brittany Garrison, and Kristen Garrison; a brother, Roger Dale Mahaffey and wife; two sisters, Maria Hanna and husband Hugh, and Debbie Owens; her companion, James Tyree; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be 5 o’clock Sunday at Emmanuel Praise & Worship Center, officiated by Rev. Mark Ginn.
