Obituary of Shelby Willis Boling

Shelby Willis Boling, 82, widow of Johnny Thomas Boling III, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 19, 2021. Mrs. Boling was born in Laurens to the late Robert Martin Willis and Marcelle Satterfield Willis. She was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church where she was the church Administrative Assistant for 34 years. She served many years in the church youth department leading and loving her students. Shelby and her husband Johnny, loved to play golf and were members at Fox Run Country Club. She was a homemaker, wife, and grandmother who adored her grandchildren, Lacie and Allissa. Surviving are a son, John Boling and wife Jamie; a daughter, Shannon Reynolds and husband Don; two grandchildren, Allissa Grace Boling and Lacie Boling and her grand fur baby, Yukon. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by five brothers, Charles Willis, Edward “Red” Willis, Garth Willis, Jack Willis and William Willis. The family will receive friends from 10-11:30 am Monday at Fountain Inn First Baptist Church in the church social hall. Funeral Services will be at 12pm in the church sanctuary. Burial will be private. Memorials maybe made to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 950 W Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605.
