Carol Dean Stone, 75, widower of Ann Clardy Stone, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 17, 2021.
Mr. Stone was born in Laurens to Juanita Wells Stone and the late Carroll Deroy Stone. He was a member of Dials United Methodist Church and loved dirt track racing.
Surviving, are a daughter, Christie Jessee; a son, Matthew Stone (Lisa); a daughter-in-law, Kaycie Stone; two grandsons, Arvin Jessee (Brittany) and Alexander Jessee; a granddaughter, Riley Stone; a great-granddaughter, Anna Jessee; his mother-in-law, Joyce Clardy; three sisters, DeNan Porterfield (Jim), Elaine Powell and Carla Powell and his uncle, Lanier Stone. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a son, David Stone and a son-in-law, Arvin Jessee.
Graveside Services will be 10am Tuesday at Cannon Byrd Memorial Park.
