I’m so sad to learn of JC’s passing although I know he is in a better place with His Lord and Savior. JC would call me periodically to keep in touch. When I called a few weeks ago and he didn’t answer or call me back, I had a feeling something was wrong. He was always so faithful to call and I’m sorry I didn’t reach out to him more often. We were so sad to hear that JC was called home. My mother and I were his neighbors. He often would call and check on my mother to make sure she was okay because he knew she lived alone. He would come over and chat with her and she loved the company. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to the family during this time. Maria Scott and AnnMarie Hille

JC always a character and was nice to me at Kemet. I went to school with and was good friends with Randall in elementary school but had not seen his dad since I was a child so when I saw JC as an adult at Kemet, he knew I did not remember him. So when we passed each other in the halls he would say “Hey James Davis!” and take off before I could asked how he knew me. That went on for about a month before I realized he was Susan and Randall’s daddy. Then I’d say “hey JC Ashley, how’s Randall and Susan?!?”To which I think he was disappointed the game was over. Still makes me smile.

Wow so many memories I wouldn’t know where to start. JC sure was a character but he was always super nice to me my entire life. My heart pours out to Susan, Eugenia and the rest of the family. I know your hearts are hurting and I wonder how each of you can take another loss. You all have been through the worse thru the last couple years but by the Grace of God you are a survivor. I love you all and I pray for each of your broken hearts. Just imagine JC in Heaven probably trying to tell Jesus what to do LOL. You all will get this no Harm intended. There is finally peace with JC, Randal and Mandy. Love you dearly.

My sincere condolences to the Ashley Family. We will miss JC at Sharonview FCU. I know he was a Gamecock fan but one day he brought me an orange stylus and said he was thinking of me because I liked Clemson. I still have that stylus. He always made sure to say hey and see how we were doing at work.
