Hi Jill and Family,
I just saw the info on the passing of Mama Ruth. The world has lost an incredible life of a wonderful and God fearing woman! Mama Ruth wore a genuine smile on her face and was happy as can be, always. She was picture perfect and had a beautiful soul - loving everyone. You are in my prayers and have my sincere condolences and my unending love.

I spent most of my childhood at Mama Ruth’s with my best friend Bonnie. Mama Ruth was so welcoming, kind hearted and beautiful. She was always dressed up even if she had no where to go. She would make the best Banana pudding and treated me like I was one of her own grandchildren. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to grow up with her and learn from her. She will be missed dearly. I know she is in Heaven in the arms of Jesus and that makes me smile.

I'm Joan, the proud sister of a wonderful Christian lady, Ruth. I knew her for 87 of her 92 years. There's nothing bad I can say about her - maybe that she was too good for her own good - meaning she didn't think of herself enough. Her thoughts were always about others regardless of whether they were relatives or not. She helped by physical caring, providing food, giving money, lending a listening ear, giving encouragement, much love, looking after our little brother Joe (who loved her dearly), and that doesn't cover everything. From a very young girl still living in Honea Path, she was instrumental in improving our family's lifestyle and encouraged and helped Mother and Daddy build our first house in Greenville and eliminate the renting cycle we were in. She was one of a kind and she should have been cloned. This world needs a lot more Ruths who radiate love. I miss you my sweet sister but will see you one day.

Oh wow where do I begin, Mama Ruth was a dear friend and client of mine. We both have laughed and cried together when talking about our children and grandchildren. I never will forget when we went shopping what a fun day. Ruth was a huge inspiration to me. She was an amazing Godly woman. I love you Ruth and have thanked God many times for you. One day I will see you again I love you

I am so Thankful for the times that her, Jill, and Ronnie prayed my sister through Brain Tumor surgery. God heard her prayers. I am grateful. Nora Quarters
