Love and miss you already Uncle Rhett. So proud to have been your great neice. You were one of a kind and will never be forgotten. I know you had a big ol welcoming committee waiting for you at those pearly gates including the ones in these pictures of you, Grandma Della and some of your brother's. Thanks for all the great memories. Rest in peace. We'll see you again one fine day.

Uncle Rhett was always my favorite. He and I shared a birthday. Some of the best times of my life were spent sitting by a fire at his farm pond. We would get a group together and start fishing a little before dark. We would catch enough catfish to feed everyone, then clean them and Danny would usually do the frying. You talking about some of the freshest fish you ever had. We would eat till we were about to pop. Then sit by the fire and tell stories. Uncle Rhetts were the best. Listening to him was like listening to the author of where the red fern grows. His adventures with his dogs out in the dark woods would have me on the edge of my seat. Then we would crawl in our tents and get some sleep. He loved life and tried to live it to the fullest. He always made sure everyone knew how much he loved them. I'm sure gonna miss him. I know his body is restored now and he is in the woods of heaven running his dogs with his brothers. Coming home to his mother and father. As I know he missed them all so much. We love you uncle Rhett. And I'm gonna miss you and those stories.

Uncle Rhett there are so many wonderful memories of you .I would love to hear you talking about how you would put me in a box,,when I was little and tie me to back of your bicycle and ride me around in the yard,and I remember how you would brush my hair and you and aunt wil would take me wrestling with yall.I loved staying with you and aunt wil cause when we went shopping yell always got me something too and the next day I was so proud to wear my new clothes and shoes to school. you were like my second dad because when my dad passed away I was so young and you were always there for me.I never told you enough how much I love you and gonna miss calling you .And when we talked you would always tell me about the grandchildren.It was so pleasing to hear how they were so good to you and coming to see you.You are gonna be missed by so many. I LOVE YOU. Carolyn
