I will always cherish the love and memories we all shared growing up and us living together and being so close! From floating down the river, to just hanging out at the house, nothing could’ve made us closer. I wish we all wouldn’t have lost touch, but now it’s too late and i’ll forever regret that. My mama. My beautiful, strong mama. Although I’m here screaming, crying, and angry begging you to come back, I know deep in my heart you’re right where you need to be. You wasn’t happy here, but Mama where you are now happiness is all you know. & when I hang on to that thought my heart is so full & at peace. I can not wait for the day I see you & daddy together with y'all's arms reached out for me. But until then I know I need to stay here. To teach & remind these grand-babies all about how much their GiGi & Papa loved them. Please help guide me through life. Remind me of my faith when I’m struggling. Remind me of all Gods love and promises when I think of you leaving and I’m too angry. Help me with the strength to live a life that will get me back to you. I love you to the moon and back Mama.

My condolences to the family . Sonya was a caring person with a big heart . I remember her smile.laugh and love she had for people. As Sonya’s former youth leader I was much more than a teacher I was her friend . Sonya and I enjoyed spending time together. We would talk ,laugh , shop and go out to eat . It was a Blessing to know her and spend time with her . I was honored when she asked me to be in her wedding ,that day was a special day . I remember Sonya working so hard for her Church and how much Sonya loved The Lord . As family and friends we want her here with us,but to know she is now healed , happy and rejoicing with the Lord gives me Peace . Family hold on to all the sweet memories y’all have and look to God to bring y'all thru these difficult days ahead and know that you will see her again .

Sonya will be missed. She was a sweet wonderful woman. We knew each other many years and she was a great friend. Praying for her family during this time of grief. She is free of pain and suffering and is in heaven rejoicing with Jesus and others that have passed on. She loved her family and friends more than anything. RIP my friend

It has been so hard to put into words of what my sissy meant to me. You had been in my life for over thirty years now. You have grown up with my kids too that is how you got the name “Sissy”. You always told them to call you that. I am going to miss our long talks. But Sissy, I know that you are so much better off.than any of us. You are finally back with the one that always had a piece of your heart, Scott. No more seizures sickness or anything else, you are a whole lady again with no pain. Family I am so sorry to hear of Sonya's passing. I knew Sonya in her teenage years, as a fellow church member and as her youth leader. Sonya always had a good attitude and was eager to participate in fund raisers and we enjoyed many trips with her. She always helped with the younger kids and with anything asked of her. She liked to joke and cut up, I can still see her smiling saying nah I'm just kidding. I hope all of her family can find peace and comfort in all of the memories of good times with her.
