I remember Alan from school but one time I broke down on the road and I don't remember how it came to be but Alan came to my rescue. And in turn I invited him to my house to shoot pool and he came over we had a wonderful conversation we talked about Marilyn it was a really nice day. I am saddened to learn of his passing and I send my condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him rest in peace my friend ❤.

I remember growing up around your family. I remember the playhouse that your Dad built in the backyard for Angie. I remember the friendship that our parents shared. I remember spending time together throughout the years. The memories that we have endure and are treasured. Your Dad was a special person who was loved by all who knew him. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. Please know that we are here for you and we love you. I am praying that God give you peace in knowing that your father is at peace and is in heaven.

When I think about Allen Spillers, I think of a friend and one who loved me and my family. Allen and his dear wife Marilyn, Angie and Andrew became like a part of our family. Allen was a hard working, loving and caring companion to Marilyn He was devastated by Marilyn's long battle with cancer and ultimate death. Allen and I fished together, we hunted deer together and we enjoyed fellowship. I have a walking stick that Allen made for me and it still has the tag on it "A crooked stick for a crooked old man". I still treasure the wood stove that Allen made for my family and me. It kept us warm on many a cold night long after I left Clear Spring. For the past several months I have talked with Allen and prayed with him a multitude of times. Sickness was very hard for him because the sickness put such limitations on his life. Over these last several months I have talked with Allen a multitude of times and prayed with him several times each week. He wanted to live for his family, for all those he loved. I shall miss him and continue to pray for his family, his special friends and treasure his Christian life. God bless all of you and remember he is waiting for you in Glory.
