Obituary of Pat Blackstone

Patricia C. Blackstone, 87, born in Sumter, SC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 7, 2024.  She was reunited with her beloved husband of 55 years, Horace F. Blackstone.

Mrs. Blackstone was the loving mother of Glenn Blackstone with wife Brenda of Lexington, SC, Susan Seal with husband Mark of Senoia, GA, Jill Cooper with husband Scott of Simpsonville, SC, and Dr. Marcus Blackstone with wife Dr. Connie of Gray Court, SC.  She was the loving grandmother of Cliff Seal, Matt Seal, Daniel Cooper, Nicholas Cooper and Tori Blackstone.

Pat loved being a homemaker, cook, baker, gardener, and above all a cherished friend.  Her infectious laugh, love and kindness to all who were blessed to know her graciousness will always be remembered.  Since 1987, she was a member of First Baptist Simpsonville.

Graveside services will be 2 o’clock Thursday, January 11^th at Graceland East Memorial Park, with Rev. Everett Kendall officiating.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the caregivers and staff of NHC-Mauldin and Caris Hospice.
