Lloyd Nease Hall, 79, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 27, 2024.




Mr. Hall was born in Del Rio, TN to the late Hayden O’Dell Hall and Sallie Mae Willis Hall. He was a member of People's Baptist Church and Shroeder Masonic Lodge #144. Lloyd founded and operated Lloyd’s of Simpsonville Barber Shop for over 50 years. He loved Blue Grass music and attended music festivals whenever possible. He played the guitar and mandolin. Lloyd cherished anytime spent in the mountains.




Surviving are a brother, Floyd Hall with wife Brenda; two sisters, Leah Roach and Eleanor Hall; his companion, Martha Hall; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, J.L. Hall, Edsel Hall and Blair Hall; and two sisters, Burlie Bates and Nellie “Tot” Bailey.




A Celebration of Lloyd’s Life will be 3 o’clock Wednesday at Peoples Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Gary Montgomery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.




Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
