Dear Miss Cathy and family, I'm so very sorry to hear of the homegoing of Larry. I too was a road driver for so many years, Larry's Gentle Spirit, his smile his complementary nature, and his positive can do attitude was always such an inspiration to me. I had actually lost track of him through the various changes of operation until several months ago. I was proud to be his friend on Facebook. I was even prouder what I heard of his retirement. He was so gracious in welcoming me to the ranks of retirement a short time ago due to my shoulder, the company buy out, and then putting me out to pasture. He invited me to come see him on the boat but I never got there. God bless you and your family. You shall be in my prayers and thoughts

I was w Cathy and Larry at the outside inn when they met in the 70's. They fell in love quickly. I was in their wedding and she in mine. Larry had a jet boat back then and taught me to ski. He was always the brightest light in the room. Always a joke or something crazy going on when he was around. He made me love the lake too. So many memories over 45 years!

for 30 years I worked along side Larry (crackerjack)
Always a smile, an uplifting word, ready to share if you where in need.
great times on the road
I remember how awkward he felt when he knocked down the concrete railing at the motel in Tampa. Larry every knows you park away from the building with a tandem tractor. but once again thinking of others and in an effort to not block the parking lot anymore then necessary he jumped the curb and pow there goes the railing.
We both had a laugh.
