Obituary of Larry Randall Dickson

Larry Randall Dickson, husband of Cathy Wham Dickson for 40 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Mr. Dickson was born in Greenville to the late Calvin Anderson Dickson and Martha “Mott” Leona Brown Dickson.  He retired from Roadway Express and was a member of Simpsonville First Baptist Church.  Larry enjoyed boating, racing, and exercising.  He was a Clemson fan and loved being “Pops” to his grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons and their wives, Zach and Ashley Dickson, and Blake and Lansing Dickson; a sister, Darlene Bone; and three grandchildren, Everly Dickson, Beckett Dickson, and Dax Dickson.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Funeral Services will be 10 am Friday in the chapel of Simpsonville First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Randy Harling and Rev. Steve Genoble.  Burial will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at the home of Blake and Lansing Dickson, 810 Fairview Road in Simpsonville.
