Ms June was a precious soul. I remember as a child "inviting myself" to visit her. I admit back then I thought tending the chickens and hogs was such fun. I remember swimming in the creek near her home. I also remember that I was expected to behave. I remember that Ms June was at Clear Springs every time the doors were open (often where we were when I "invited myself"). I remember that she prayed before meals, in the morning, in the evening, and many other times during the day because Jesus was her Savior and her friend. She was one of many sweet ladies (and men) that I knew as a child at Clear Spring Baptist Church. I know she is at home now and rejoicing with the many that have gone before her. I pray that God gives the whole Goodwin family peace, comfort, and guidance.
