Beloved Phyllis and Mike and family, my heart is right there with you as you grieve your precious Matt's loss. Matt was such a wonderful boy and young man. He was not just a nice person but was truly a GREAT person! I am so honored that I was able to know him even a little. I am honored to be related to such a fine and beautiful soul who truly brought light to the world, whether through missions, through friendships, or through coaching young boys in baseball. He brightened so many lives through his smile, his kindness and his great love of life and of others. He was and is so very special. Please know I am hugging you right now in spirit and that you are always on my mind and in my prayers as you go through this. May God hold you and carry you as only He can - I know He is holding both you and Matt in His arms together right now and always.
With love and deepest sympathy,
Nancy Iraheta, and Willie and the kids

I am so very sorry for your loss. We lost a grandson aged 15 years and a granddaughter aged 23 ( brother and sister). We raised them for the biggest part of their life. The loss of a child is the worst pain that anyone will ever face. Through the Grace of God, You will get through your loss. Some days will be harder than others. Keep your memories close and talk about your son. Laugh at the silly things. Rejoice in knowing that he was an amazing young man. I know you are proud of all he did. You must have been amazing parents. Continue to support each other. It's alright to cry and laugh together. Don't forget to hug and hold each other, especially during those moments when you feel low. I'm sorry for going on and on but this has helped during our often long and dark days. We don't know each other but I felt I needed to speak to you. God Bless you and please accept my prayers. Rest in Peace Matthew
