Obituary of John Maurice Patton

John Maurice Patton, 84, husband of Mary “Toni” Boiter Patton, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
Mr. Patton was born in Fountain Inn to the late Ernest Palmer Patton and Parris Virginia Dillard Patton. He retired from Greenville Ford & Tractor and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a lifetime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. John enjoyed football, NASCAR, fishing and gardening. He was a huge Clemson fan.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Sam Owen; a daughter, Teressa Adair and husband Tom; a grandson, Samuel Rory Owen; a daughter-in-law, Lesia Morris; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Watts Patton; and four sisters, Edna Fleming, Margaret Thomas, Mary MacLauchlin, and Stella Patton.
Graveside services will be private.
